Joe Dombrowski won his first-ever Grand Tour stage from a breakaway in the brutal wet conditions on stage four. However, Alessandro De Marchi came just a few seconds behind and thus became the new race leader.
This year’s Italian Grand Tour is taking place from May 8—30. It will return six months after the last edition, which was pushed back in the calendar due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The riders will start in Turin and end in Milano.
