Landa’s first win in two years
The Bahrain Victourious’ rider finished sixth on the final uphill stage, which was enough to secure him the title. Romain Bardet (Team DSM) who started the day 45 seconds ahead of Landa struggled on the last climb and finished sixth overall in the end. Fabio Aru (Qhubeka NextHash) and Mark Padun (Bahrain Victorious) completed the podium. Bahrain Victorious do seem to be in good form leading up to the “big” Vuelta. Do you think Mikel Landa could be a serious contender?
The last stage was won by Hugh Carty who tied in the mountains classification for first place with Romain Bardet and Mikel Landa.
