Pogačar Firmly in Yellow and Other Cool News from the World of Cycling

By Monica Buck

Another Monday is here, and so is our news from the world of cycling. So, what did you miss?

The Slovenian seems unbeatable

Yesterday’s stage belonged to Ben O’Connor who soloed to a victory and now sits second in the GC, just over two minutes behind Pogačar. However, the Slovenian attacked again as well. After his historic performance during stage 8, he counterattacked Carapaz’s effort and put another 32 seconds into Carapaz and Urán. His form suggests he could win this race by the biggest margin we’ve seen in a long time.
