The ride down the 506 steps and 92 metres of the Atomium was just the beginning of a much longer journey. On May 1, Geys will embark on ‘Ride Up’: a round-the-world trip divided into six stages. Fans can greet him in Spain, Iran, India or the US.
Geys is a health influencer, a coach, and a former pro BMX rider. The mission of his trip is to promote people’s mental and physical well-being in the times of the Coronavirus pandemic. As he states: ‘My mission as an experience expert is simple: Grab your bike, bags and pedal the world because it’s a mental and physical healing process…’
Geys’ plan is to cycle for more than 200 days and visit places such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and the beautiful landscapes of the Himalayas.
To Walk Again is a Belgian non-profit organisation supporting people with physical disabilities. Te Gek?! spreads awareness and aims to destroy the taboos related to mental health issues.
