Chris Froome to Ride the Virtual Tour de France Finale

Team Ineos announced on Thursday that the four-time Tour de France winner will ride stage 6 on the virtual Champs-Élysées this Sunday. Froome will be joined by Filippo Ganna, Chris Lawless, and Cameron Wurf.

The start of the Tour de France was postponed till 29th August due to the coronavirus pandemic. The void in the calendar and the fans’ souls was filled by the launch of a virtual version of the race. Over three weekends, from 4th July to 19th July, a virtual Tour de France has been unfolding, offering six stages. Sunday will see the race’s finale.
