Viviani outsprints Lampaert
With 25km to go, Viviani, Ackermann and Lampaert went clear of the leading group and held their advantage till the very end. Lampaert attacked with 3km to go, not wanting to compete in a sprint with such heavyweights. However, Viviani managed to close the gap and the Deceuninck – Quick-Step duo worked together till the finish. The Belgian did try to attack again, but Viviani easily overtook him and claimed the win. Ackermann finished third. Kristoff then led the peloton across the line ahead of Mørkøv and Bennett.
