Quick-Step Floors Win the Men’s Time Trial and Other Cool News from the World of Cycling

Another Monday is here and our news from the world of cycling with it! So, what did you miss?

Fourth victory for Quick-Step

The Belgian team averaged 55.5 kph and managed to win in the last year that the UCI Road World Championships will feature trade teams. Kasper Asgreen, Laurens De Plus, Bob Jungles, Yves Lampaert, Max Schachmann, and Niki Terpstra were thirteen seconds down at the first time check. However, they cut Sunweb’s lead down to just one second at the second time check and in the end, they beat the defending champions by 18 seconds. BMC Racing got bronze with a 20-second margin behind the Belgian team.

It’s Canyon-SRAM

The German-registered team with the likes of four-time gold medallist Trixi Worrack and British time trial champion Hannah Barnes crossed the line at 1:01:46, with the second team (Beols-Dolmans) clocking in at 1:02:08.
