We already know that the Grand Départ takes place in Düsseldorf and it comprises of a short time trial. Based on the stage profile, Tony Martin has the best shot at wearing the legendary yellow jersey in his home country at the end of the opening day,” read a press release from ASO.
Stage two will also start in Düsseldorf with the rumoured finish in Belgium. ASO has released a map of the opening kilometers, but the rest is as clear as mud. The last stage will obviously end on the Champs-Élysées like every year since 1975.
