„I was always going somewhere — to classes at school, to a museum, to the pub, or all three in a row. Every activity required me to carry different things. I felt like a pack mule taking it all on my bike,” says the founder Kathryn Carlson. „I started thinking … wouldn’t it be great if I could treat my bike the way everyone treats a car trunk, where you can just toss a gym bag or an extra pair of shoes, no problem?” Kathryn adds.

Over the last years, she has enlisted various designers and engineers to realize her vision. It’s a secure and flexible bike storage that resembles the common storage boxes usually fixed at the rear part of motorbikes or scooters. The team worked hard trying to nail the combination of features that make their idea different: security, weather resistance, and a flexible lid system. And then the trunk – how they call it in Britain – was ready to go.

According to Kathryn the trunk is designed with durability in mind. It’s being produced in plastic and it comes in three different colors. It was tested properly to make sure it could hold up against the elements. It’s compatible with all standard bike racks. Attaching it is so easy that it only takes a couple of minutes. „Wherever you are, whatever you’re carrying, you can leave it behind,” Kathryn says.
