Our Simply Clever solution minimises the visual impact on your bike and reuses materials destined for the recycling bin. No more skunk stripe and mud in your face. Our We Love Cycling Ambassador Gaspi will show you what to do.
How to proceed – a few simple steps
First here are the few things you will need – one soda bottle, one cable tie or metal wire (can be replaced with a cord) and a pair of scissors, or a sharp knife. All of these parts can be found in any grocery store.
Use the knife to split the bottle into two halves. Those parts will play roles as the front and the rear of mudguard.
Cut a couple of small holes into the plastic and thread the cable tie (or wire).
Attach the first guard under the down tube to protect your face.
Repeat the same process with the other half of the bottle. This part should be fixed under your saddle. It takes less than five minutes and you’re ready to ride even in the storm
When you reach your destination recycle your mudguard and return your bike to its common look. Simple, fast, effective.
